Very interesting point Lora! Very telling and also indicative of a different problem entirely. Sadly, Bernie Sanders lost the primary to Hillary Clinton by more than 3.7 million votes. That’s a lot of votes! I know it’s a tough pill to take, you loved Bernie but he lost. He actually lost “bigly” as Trump would put it. But in politics, sometimes the guy you love the most doesn’t win. It’s about votes. And even then, sometimes the person with the most votes still doesn’t win. That’s what it feels like with Hillary Clinton. Trump won the Electoral College.

Because she lost to Donald Trump on what i’ll call a technicality — the Electoral College is archaic and flawed, IMO, she was still the best candidate to face Trump. I’m sure you don’t want to hear that. You don’t want to recognize that the Republicans would have damaged Bernie worse than Hillary, potentially tainting your view of a 30-year Beltway insider. I’m sure the evangelicals would have been so thrilled to learn about Bernie’s CHILD out of wedlock or how his wife would destroy education for everyone. It’s tough to take and playing Monday morning quarterback is so easy, but Bernie would have lost.

Thanks for reading but I can say with all confidence, your “warning” fell on deaf ears. There was nothing to warn. Hillary was the best candidate the Democrats could have put forth. She was nominated by over 16.9 million Democrats.
