Dear people defending the 53% of White Women Voted For Trump (based on this response piece):

A. You’re making excuses for women who are either uninformed or decidedly ignorant (eg. my son convinced me about Trump, Obama has ruined the economy, Hillary Clinton killed people). That must be addressed. These women are EDUCATORS (a good number of them) and they’re displaying shaky (at best) critical thinking or cognitive reasoning. Something’s wrong there and we need to talk about it.

B. No one’s shaming them. If I went through the trouble of writing these women’s names, I’d be shaming them. They apparently, spoke to the Times themselves, they could have been anonymous if they wished, they chose not to.

C. This is a conversation which deserves to be addressed. If you don’t see a problem with 53% of women voting for a man with a questionable record BUT making uniformed decisions in order to do so, that’s your business. Move along.
